Nuts About Sketches

Here is this week's sketch at Nuts About Sketches, I only did the left side as I only had 3 photos I wanted to use.

This is photos of Tom when he had no front teeth...he had knocked them out on the edge of the bath tub, he looks so funny here but it never seemed to worry him!

Have a great day

Lets Get Sketchy Impromptu Challenge

Hi, just wanted to let you know that Lets Get Sketchy is having an impromptu sketch challenge over on their blog and it runs until the 28th Feb, it's just a warm up sketch before the opening of their new sketch blog which goes live on the 5th March!!  Why don't you head on over to the blog and have a look at what the DT did with this great sketch and join in the fun, would love to see you there. Here is the sketch and my interpretation.

Just look at that face!!  Poor little darling (my beautiful GD)....the next day she came out in the chicken pox spots!  I'm going to do another page with photos of her covered in spots.

It's a bit dark or something here but it does look better, I have put kindy glitz on the twine and die cut flourish and the flower.

Have a great day!
Cheers

This week's sketch

......from Nuts About Sketches,  I have had these photos in an album for years and I have finally scrapped them!! Doesn't it feel good when that happens!!  These photos are of Cooper and Steven(Hubby), they were sitting out the front of your house waiting for the postie to come and Cooper wanted to get up on Steve's knee to give him a kiss but he licked him instead....well that's when the fun began!!!!!  Cooper has such a fun personality, very active and so adorable!!
Here is the sketch and my layout I did, I have used more photos, I had so many I wanted to include on the same layout.

I have use some old old old papers from my stash, the stripe is from...don't know just had a look and it had no brand name....some Kaisercraft Papers from the Lush Collection (the background PP) some Stampin Up Designer Paper and cardstock.  The orange strip across the page is Tape from Heidi Swapp (I told you it was old) and some rubons from Kaisercraft. For the title I use Thickers and BG stickers....oh and my new Martha Stewart around the page punch.

If you have a lot of photos like I had, head on over to Nuts About Sketches and try out this weeks sketch!!

Thanks and have a great day!
Cheers

TRY AGAIN!!

What a month it has been!!!!  Got home from the shack on the Friday after having the 6 Grand-children for a holiday and poor Montana had the Gastro bug that was going around, little darling.....and that started it....I got a phone call at 2.30 am Sunday morning from Hayley, she had started vomiting and had to go to the hospital could I come around and watch Montana...the vomiting had bought the baby on and as she couldn't have it naturally, she was rushed into theatre to have an emergency C on Sunday morning.....  I am bless with a beautiful baby boy!!!  He is totally totally gorgeous!!  DARBY JACKSON TOOLE....So that makes it 8 darling grand-children now.

Anyway, Mark (Hayley's husband) got the bug on Monday...I got it on Tuesday..and my hubby got it on the Wednesday and poor Montana still had it!  We all couldn't go to the hospital so we didn't pass the bug on and poor Hayley couldn't have visitors...it was one heck of a week!!! I'm Back!!!!!!

Hi, I'm finally back to updating this blog, it's been a few months and a lot has happened!  I had my knee operated on in November and it really rocked me!!  Having 2 lots of surgery in 6 weeks really took it out of me.  But I'm on the road again and getting back to my normal self, whatever that is!!  LOL
I'm down the shack at the moment with 3 of my grandchildren enjoying the beach, beautiful!

I've been trying to keep up with my scrapbooking for Nuts about sketches  and Shawn has done some wonderful sketches, love them!  Here are the ones I have done since my last post, might be a bit long so grab yourself a cuppa. Well I will have to come back when I'm on my computer at home, I'm on my laptop and it won't let me upload any photos, this is why I don't add to my blog as often as I should, just don't understand how things work or how to get them working!!!!
